“ Go for a drink, not the food... Perfect location and the staff are helpful but, honestly, (and I'm usually a generous reviewer) the food was awful. I had 'carbonara' and I am sure it was from a supermarket, freeze dry bag with some bacon on. My partners meal was no better. We provided polite feedback and the staff were courteous but also seemed like they were used to complaints, sadly. ”
“ We visited Solenzara Beach Club again after two years, and not much has changed. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk only spoke French and told us most of the sunbeds were already reserved. We ended up with ones in the very back, furthest from the water. To be fair, the place did fill up during the day, so she might have been right — but we noticed plenty of the nicer double beds with mattresses stayed empty for a long time. It would’ve been better if she had at least asked if we wanted those instead. The sunbeds cost 30 euros each including an umbrella. No towels included, but you can rent them. The beds are quite hard with no mattresses, so comfort-wise it’s nothing special. On the positive side, the staff working the beach and restaurant were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Everything was clean and well maintained. The beach has pebbles near the shore and soft sand further out in the water. It’s also child-friendly. We had a small lunch delivered to our sunbeds, and the food was really good. The arancini (fried risotto balls) were tasty, the focaccia was fresh, and later we ordered a pizza with prosciutto and truffle — also very good. Everything arrived quickly. You can order drinks too — I had a Piña Colada. It was the simple kind: two ice cubes, plastic cup, nothing fancy, but it did the job. A bit steep at 16 euros, though. ”

Mixed menu with starters, salads, pastas, meat & fish, along with daily specials. Quality of food & service have dipped a bit, but still a nice place to gather for a leisure meal with family & friends. ”
